Student Financial Aid and Scholarships

*Applicants will use prior-prior year income and tax information (ex. 2020 income and tax information for 2022-23 FAFSA and 2021 income and tax information for 2023-24 FAFSA.)

It is important that applicants apply for the FAFSA as soon as it becomes available each October. Some financial aid is awarded based on the initial FAFSA filing date. Using prior-prior year tax information makes the FAFSA process easier for families and students.

To make the FAFSA even easier, use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) that is available through the online FAFSA.

If you plan to attend college from July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023, you can submit the FAFSA from October 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022, using tax information from 2020.

If you plan to attend college from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024, you can submit the FAFSA from October 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023, using tax information from 2021.
